What is included in the purchase price?

All the beef is vacuum packaged and frozen. Portioned beef includes butcher fees, vacuum packaging, locker delivery and pick up. On the ranch pick up is always free, shipping with reasonable rates is available.

Where are you located?

The Ranch is just North of Newcastle Nebraska. Which is about an hour and a half south of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and about forty five minutes west of Sioux City, Iowa; in the North West corner of Dixon County Nebraska.

The Ranch is nestled in the wind blown Loess Hills of Northeast Nebraska. In a part of the state known as the Outlaw Trail. Outlaws such as Jesse James, Doc Middleton, and Kid Wade roamed and hid in the hills from here to as far west as Valentine. God’s beauty surrounds us here and truly makes it a paradise for our family and cows. From our hills we look over the Missouri River valley and the South Dakota prairie.

Is the beef all natural or organic?

Although we are not certified all-natural or organic, We raise our cattle holistically and sustainably with the goal of raising cattle as close to nature as we can. We do this by closely monitoring our cattle, their diet, and health.

At Robinson Ranch we have taken a step back in time observing and practicing old school ways of genetic selection. Doing this we have built a herd of outstanding mother cows that produce offspring with amazing beef qualities.

We practice rotational grazing to maximize the time cattle can spend in grass pastures. The cattle are provided free choice salt and apple cider vinegar to boost overall health and gut function.

Our cattle are never given artificial hormones or antibiotics. We strive to run a closed herd, this has allowed us to discontinue the use of vaccinees.

Is the beef grass fed?

Our beef is grass fed and grain finished. This means the cows spend majority of their life grazing but are fed a high quality, closely monitored diet of hay and a grain-based ration during the last 100 days to reach our desired finish weight.

Can you ship to me?

We can ship to all 50 states, if you have a physical address- sorry no PO Boxes.

All Shipments leave the ranch on Mondays via UPS, FedEx or a local shipping company.

How will the beef ship?

When your beef is shipped, it is carefully placed in an eco friendly shipping box. - No Styrofoam here. Our unique insulated packing comes from Green Cell Foam. It is the most environmentally sustainable and functional packaging material available. Made from US-grown corn, Green Cell Foam is certified compostable in industrial facilities and can even be dissolved in a sink for safe and easy disposal.

All shipping orders are shipped frozen and arrive frozen with the use of Dry Ice. Please use caution when opening your boxes as Dry Ice is extremely cold and can cause frostbite if it comes in direct contact with your skin. If there is any Dry Ice remaining in your package, carefully remove it (wearing gloves) and set it aside in a safe ventilated space for it to dissipate.

How is the beef packaged?

Each piece of Robinson Ranch Beef is individually labeled with the cut, weight and package date, it is vacuum packaged to preserve freshness for an extended amount of time in your freezer.

How much freezer space will I need?

Every thirty pounds of packaged frozen beef can fit into one cubic foot of space.

Typically 1/8 beef will fit in your refrigerator/freezer, 1/4 and 1/2 beef a small chest freezer, whole beef a large chest or upright freezer.
